Hi Peak Team! My name is Yvette and I am the new physical therapist at the Colorado Springs location. So a little about myself…I am a recent graduate with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX in Dec 2010. After graduation, I was only sure of 2 things. I knew I wanted to work in an outpatient orthopedic setting and that I wanted to move to Colorado! I am truly blessed that both of those things were able to come true! I wanted to move to CO because I love the great outdoors! Everything from skiing to biking, hiking to running…and being able to look at the mountains everyday is truly breathtaking! So far my time here has been amazing. Everyone at Peak Physical Therapy as been so great and welcoming and I am truly blessed to start my new career at such a great company!
As a new graduate, I’m still trying to learn new things everyday. I love manual therapy and feel like every patient can benefit from a “hands-on” approach. I have already taken advanced courses in techniques for the spine and would like to further my manual skill set and knowledge specifically related to the lumbo-sacral spine.
