Joy Sperry

Manager For Peak Fitness McCall

Sperry joined our team after coaching Division I volleyball at Weber State University for the last five years. She will also join the McCall high school volleyball program as the head volleyball coach.

She loves working with people and her players to help push them to reach their potential, whether it is in the clinic or in the gym.
Sperry coached the past eight seasons at Layton Christian Academy in nearby Layton, Utah, where her team claimed the 2009 State 2-A volleyball championship with a 23-1 overall record. The Eagles won Region 14 titles in 2007 and 2009. She was named as the Coach of the Year for the state of Utah by the National Federation of High Schools.
Sperry has also coached club volleyball for the last 14 years, leading many of her teams to regional championships. The last two years of coaching she purchased the club and became the Director of the Northern Wildcat Volleyball club.

Sperry began her coaching career in 2000, joining the staff at Lewis-Clark State College (26-6), as an assistant coach. She then moved on to be an assistant at the University of Maine, where she coached for two seasons.
A native of Wallace, Idaho, Sperry starred at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho, leading the Golden Eagles to back-to-back NJCAA national championships and a 121-1 overall record.

Sperry finished her collegiate playing career at Washington State University, starting for the Cougars in 1998-99, and was the team captain and MVP her senior season before graduating with a B.A. in Social Sciences.
