Born in Pueblo, CO and raised in rural southern Colorado on a small family ranch. Attended high school at John Mall (graduating class of 43 kids) where I ran track (300/100 m hurdles and 200/400 m relays) and played football (left defensive end). I began to find my passion for physical therapy after a shoulder dislocation during our homecoming game my senior year (with recurrent dislocations followed by two labral repair surgeries. The moral of the story, always follow through with your home exercise program). I completed my undergrad (degree in integrative physiology (2007) with post-bachelorette work in neurophysiology, and biochemistry (2009-2012) at University of Colorado, Boulder. From there I attended the University of Colorado, Denvers Auschutz Medical Campus to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. I have enjoyed working in the neurologic, acute, and orthopedic realms.
In my free time, I enjoy deer and elk hunting, fishing, adventure races (5 completed Tough Mudders and 2 Warrior Dashes), mountain biking, taking my pup Daisy hiking, camping, photography, and skiing. With all the rivers here in Idaho I would like to pick up kayaking, and I am looking forward to my time in Middleton with Peak PT and everything Idaho has to offer.
